Smithfield, R.I – Boston College beat Harvard 3-0 on Saturday. The Eagles won by scores of 26-24, 25-17, and 27-25.
Senior right side hitter Izzy Clavenna (Dallas, Texas) led the way for BC with nine kills, while Sophomore middle blocker Jenna Pollock (St. Catharines, Ont) was an important contributor for the offense with eight kills of her own. Pollock posted a .333 hitting percentage and Clavenna added three blocks and six digs to help lock down the defense for the Eagles.
Junior setter Grace Penn (Manhattan Beach, Calif) once again was the catalyst for the Boston College offense with a team-high 19 assists, while also adding seven digs as well.
