CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's basketball team survived a pesky Virginia squad with a 65-57 win on Thursday evening inside Conte Forum.
The Eagles improve to 15-7 and 6-5 in the ACC, while the Cavaliers fall to 3-16 and 0-9 in league action.
Cameron Swartz netted a game-high 18 points to lead three Eagles in double figures. The senior guard went 8-of-10 at the line, grabbed five boards, and collected three steals. Marnelle Garraud scored 14 points ( 11 in the second half) and dished out four assists.
