Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College women's hockey team surged past Saint Anslem 5-1 to close out 2023.
Freshman Sammy Taber picked up right where she left off. Taber scored three minutes into the first period. Captain Abby Newhook also found the back of the net in the first period to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead.
Heading into the second period, the Eagles continued to put pressure on the Hawks. Freshman Julia Pellerin had a breakaway opportunity where she found the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season.
