SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- The Boston College Softball program fell to Notre Dame, 4-3 in the first meeting of the teams in a three game series at the Melissa Cook Softball Stadium.
Game one began Friday afternoon, however play was postponed in the bottom of the fifth due to weather. Game one resumed Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles kicked off play scoring one run in the second, and added another in the fourth to take a 2-0 lead. Boston College manufactured runs off of a Maycee Hilt RBI and a Zoe Hines RBI sacrifice fly.
