TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Boston College softball team overpowered Stamford, 9-2, in game one of the Easton Crimson Classic behind five hitless innings by senior pitcher Jessica Dreswick. The Eagles were no-hit by No. 13 Alabama in game two, losing the contest, 5-0.
After both teams remained scoreless through three innings in game one, BC opened the scoring in the third and scored seven unanswered runs over the next three innings behind two triples by DiEmmanuele and Murphy and two hits by Cook. Though the Bulldogs would tack on two runs in the sixth, it wasn't enough.
