CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior infielder hit a walk off single up the middle in the bottom of the eight inning to give the Eagles their ninth win of the season over Maryland on Saturday afternoon.
Peyton Schnackenberg got the start for BC and went four innings, allowing just two runs on five hits while striking out three. Freshman Abby Dunning picked up her second win of the season, twirling four scoreless innings of relief and striking out four.
Offensively, BC had ten hits against Maryland's pitching. Four Eagles had a multi-hit game. Abigail Knighthad three singles, Nicole Giery had a double and a single, Ellie Mataya and Labshere had two singles apiece.
