The Eagles played in the ACC-Big Ten Tournament down in Atlanta Georgia this past weekend, where they faced Iowa and Nebraska. They played both teams twice, losing both games to Iowa, and losing the first to Nebraska, but winning the final game of the tournament.
On Friday, the Eagles faced Iowa for the first time, and despite Susannah Anderson throwing three strikeout in the first four innings, Iowa was able to make three runs off of seven hits. Peyton Schnackenberg then relieved Anderson for the last three innings and only gave up one run off one hit, and threw three strikeouts as well.
