BOSTON – The Boston College Eagles and the Boston University Terriers faced off in the battle of Commonwealth Ave. The Eagles left tonight with a 3-0 victory over the Terriers.
In the first 35 minutes of the game, both sides were evenly matched, with neither team taking advantage of their shot opportunities. The freshman Julia Pellerin found the back of the net for the game's first goal 15 minutes into the second period.
In the third period, Sammy Taber doubled the lead with an empty net goal; shortly after the Taber goal, Sammy Smigliani added the final insurance goal of the night to give the BC a three-goal advantage.
