NEWTON, Mass. – Stefan Sigurdarson scored his fifth goal in four matches, but Boston College settled for a 1-1 draw with Siena in rainy conditions on Tuesday night at the Newton Soccer Complex.
Both schools pushed their records to 2-1-1 through four non-conference matches.
Sigurdarson nodded the Eagles into the lead in the 36th minute with his fifth goal of the season. Augustine Boadi bent a ball into the box from the left wing, and Sigurdarson flicked a header inside the far post to beat Greg Monroe.
With the goal, Sigurdarson moved into a tie for ninth place on the program's all-time goals list (21) with Jay Hutchins and David Sullivan.
