CLEMSON, S.C. — The No. 51 Boston College Eagles (9-6, 2-5) defeated No. 46 Clemson for their first road victory at Clemson in program history, taking down the Tigers 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
"This was a total team win," said head coach Nigel Bentley. "Everyone contributed and played great tennis. We have been playing better doubles recently and winning the doubles point today really gave us positive energy going into singles. These ACC matches are so competitive. We had never won at Clemson before. It's really a testament to all the hard work from the players to beat a solid Clemson team on the road.
