GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior Emma Guy scored 19 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds but it was not enough as No. 6 Boston College fell to No. 2 NC State, 82-75, in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on Saturday at Greensboro Coliseum. No. 4 Florida State upset No. 1 Louisville, 62-60, in the first game of the day.
Boston College (20-11) made a deep run in the tournament with a second round win over Clemson on Thursday followed by an upset win over No. 3 Duke on Friday night. With little time to recover for a 2:30 tip on Saturday the Eagles fight never quit.
