CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College improved to 5-0 on Sunday afternoon, pulling out a 5-2 victory over Yale at the Flynn Recreation Complex. Jackie Urbinati, Dasha Possokhova and Laura Lopez proved to be the difference in singles after the Eagles and Bulldogs were tied 2-2.
Following a 7-5 doubles victory for the tandem of Lopez and Yufei Long, Possokhova and Natasha Irani clinched the doubles point for BC in a tight 7-6 match against Caroline Amos and Kathy Wang.
"This match had lots of momentum twists and turns," said head coach Nigel Bentley.
