CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College football team scored 24 unanswered points en route to a 38-20 win over the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium.
With the win, the Eagles moved to 5-2 on the year and 2-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Louisville is now 2-5 overall and 0-4 in ACC games. BC is 4-0 in Chestnut Hill this season.
BC raced out to a 14-0 lead with touchdowns on each of its first two possessions. Redshirt-freshman tight end Hunter Long got into the end zone on a wide open play action pass down the far sideline for the first TD of the day.
