BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Boston College responded from a last-set loss to Syracuse with a 6-1 victory over Cornell on Sunday afternoon in a neutral site match played at Binghamton.
The Eagles improved to 8-2 (0-2 ACC) while the Big Red fell to 1-9.
Laura Lopez pushed her undefeated singles record to 10-0 with a 6-3, 6-1 straight set win at third doubles over Fatima El Ashram. Hailey Wilcox was also a straight set victor in the No. 6 slot by the same final score against Khary Pryce.
Kylie Wilcox, Elene Tsokilauri and Maria Ross all pulled out their singles matchups in a third set.
