CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – After falling to No. 20 NC State on Friday to begin a three-match weekend homestand, Boston College rebounded on Saturday with a 7-0 shutout of Sacred Heart at the Flynn Recreation Complex. The Eagles improved to 5-9 (0-6 ACC) and will host No. 2 Wake Forest on Sunday.
Max Mendelsohn, Wills Tutecky, Max Palmer, Peter Campana, and Santiago Montufar all won their matches in straight sets against the Pioneers, while Alexander Chieffalo pulled out his matchup in a third set tiebreaker.
