SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Eagles' rally fell short in a 71-64 setback to No. 25 Syracuse on Sunday evening inside the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Eagles fall to 9-7 and 1-2 in the ACC, while the Orange improve to 12-2 and 2-1 in league action.
Teya Sidberry and Dontavia Waggoner led the Eagles in scoring with 12 points. Both players also recorded six rebounds and three steals.
Andrea Daley registered eight points and set career highs in assists (5), steals (5) and grabbed five boards. Kaylah Ivey rounded out the leading scorers with eight.
