CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team has raised $5,614 over the last two seasons through the through the program's annual Pink Card Match game jersey auction. The Eagles donated the proceeds from the last two annual breast cancer awareness games to the Mass General Brigham Cancer Center.
"The importance of the Pink Card Match is recognized by all of our players, said junior captain Michela Agresti. "Unfortunately, it is not uncommon that someone knows of an individual who has been diagnosed with breast cancer."
In addition to raising awareness about breast cancer in the week leading up to the annual Pink Card Match, the Eagles auction off pink game-worn warm-up jerseys.
