CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College outscored Milwaukee, 46-16, in the second half as it earned a 73-53 victory in the season opener on Tuesday night at Conte Forum.
The Eagles trailed by 11 points - 17-6 - just over seven minutes into the game, as the Panthers connected on four 3-pointers early on. Milwaukee would lead by as many as 14 points in the first half, taking a 26-12 advantage with 8:19 to play on the back of its perimeter shooting. The Panthers led, 37-27, at the break.
To start the second half, the Panthers connected on their seventh 3-pointer and took a 40-27 lead.
