BRONX, N.Y. – The Boston College women's cross country team placed 16th at the NCAA Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships this morning. Roshni Singh led BC with a 21st-place finish, completing the six-kilometer course in 21:07.6.
Sarah Flynn was the second Eagle to finish the race, placing 5th with a time of 21:36.4. She was followed by Katherine Mitchell, who finished 87th overall (22:06.4).
Miriam Ruoff (22:29.1) and Ella Whitman (23:13.6) rounded out the top five for BC, placing 104th and 159th respectively.
Providence won the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship with 71 points and earned themselves an automatic bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships along with second-place Syracuse (91 points).
