GILBERT, Ariz. – The Boston College field hockey team was picked 13th in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Preseason Coaches' Poll to open the season, as announced by the NFHCA today.
This is the second-consecutive season the Eagles have started the year ranked 13th in the country. The Atlantic Coast Conference saw every team ranked in the poll, with all seven schools in the top-20.
BC is coming off a 10-9 season in 2018, but enters 2019 having lost seven seniors. Head Coach brought in a freshman class of eight to help replace the lost points.
