STORRS, Conn. – The Boston College women's hockey team earned a 3-1 win over UConn on Friday night at the Mark Freitas Ice Forum. Abigail Levy finished with 44 saves for the Eagles, while Natalie Tulchinsky, Caroline Goffredo and Abby Newhook found the back of the net.
The teams were scoreless through the first two periods before UConn struck first on the power play. The Eagles, though, responded with a pair of goals less than two minutes apart from Goffredo and then Tulchinsky. Newhook then added an empty-net goal with a minute to play.
