HANOVER, N.H. — The Boston College men's tennis team opened the fall season at the Dartmouth Invitational last weekend, where it competed against Dartmouth, Bryant, Monmouth, and Yale in individual singles and doubles matches on Saturday and Sunday.
The Eagles' Juan Jose Bianchi took home the victory in his only singles match of the weekend, defeating Hikaru Takeda of Dartmouth in straight sets, 7-5 and 6-4. Bianchi's success continued into doubles play, teaming up with Max Motlagh and defeating Dartmouth's duo of Alejandro Quiles and Hikaru Takeda, 6-0.
Motlagh strung together a successful weekend, pairing with Bianchi and sophomore Bennett Turner for a perfect 2-0 doubles performance.
