BOSTON, Mass. - Boston College Sailing was back in the water this weekend, competing in three regattas and finishing first in the Eagle Invite, one of three races the Eagles will host this fall. In addition to getting first in the Eagle Invite, BC placed 6th of 20 teams in the Hood Trophy Regatta hosted by Tufts University, and took 7th of 18 teams in the Sherman Hoyt Trophy Regatta hosted by Brown University.
The Eagles started the weekend in Boston with the Eagle invite, where the A and B division boats each secured a first place finish, scoring 37 points and 21 points respectively, while the C division boat scored 29 points, bringing BC's total first place score to 87 points.
