PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Boston College softball team fell to Pittsburgh, 7-0, on at Vartabedian Field in the final game of the season. Boston College dropped to 18-35 and 4-20 in the ACC, while Pittsburgh is now 14-41 and 7-17 in the conference.
After yesterday's wild 15-12 game, Boston College did not score despite six hits in the game. The Eagles left six runners on base and had two fielding errors. Pittsburgh finished with seven hits, two more home runs and zero errors.
BC freshman Ellie Mataya had two hits, while Jules Trevino, Lexi DiEmmanuele, Emme Martinez and Allyson Moore all had a hit.
