CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Boston College men's soccer stunned No. 8 North Carolina in the regular-season finale with a 1-0 victory on Friday evening at Dorrance Field.
The Eagles improve to 6-4-6 overall after a second straight win and move to 1-4-3 in ACC play. BC will wait for its opponent in the ACC Tournament that begins next week on Nov. 6. Boston College earned its first ranked win since a 2-1 triumph over No. 3 Wake Forest in 2019.
It came down to four minutes left in the contest when Marci Killeen fired in the Eagles' lone shot on goal in the upper right corner to deliver the game-winning score.
