Eagles In The NBA

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Three former Boston College men’s basketball standouts made major moves in the NBA this offseason.

Olivier Hanlan was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 42nd overall pick in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft. Hanlan was the ninth Boston College player to be drafted since 1989, the first year of the current two-round format. He was the third second-round pick in that time and the fifth second-round selection all-time. Hanlan made his Utah debut on July 6 in the first summer league game of the season.

Reggie Jackson signed a five-year, $80 million contract on July 6 with the Detroit Pistons.
