The Boston College women’s basketball team survived its first day in Italy. The Eagles flew out of Boston Logan Airport on Saturday night only to land in Rome at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The team arrived at Lake Como by 5 p.m. to start their Italian journey.
Upon arrival the team was met by Tour Representative Mike Hayward, a native of Washington, and the Italian guide Elena D. After a check-in at the Barcheletta Excelsior along Lake Como, the team enjoyed a full meal at Ristorante Orologio. The first course was a small piece of cheese pizza followed by a large plate of ziti.
