Eagles Grind Out 2-1 Road Victory Over Northeastern

BROOKLINE, Mass. – Boston College scored twice in the first half and held on late to beat Northeastern 2-1 on Tuesday night in non-conference action at Parsons Field.

The Eagles improved to 4-4-2 (0-2-2 ACC) and pushed their all-time record against NU to 13-1-1, handing the Huskies (7-3-1, 2-1-0 CAA) just their third loss of the season.

Just two minutes into the match, rookie Drew Serafino made lateral moves around numerous Northeastern defenders and fired a left-footed shot off the right post to beat Colby Hegarty for his first collegiate goal.

With only 1:34 left in first half, Michael Suski was taken down from behind near the top of the NU box.
