CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College earned a 6-1 victory over crosstown rival Boston University on Friday afternoon at the Connell Recreation Center.
The Eagles improved to 9-4 overall heading into a clash with No. 15 Notre Dame on Saturday night.
BC won the doubles point to open the match as Elene Tsokilauri and Laura Lopez were 6-1 winners in the No. 2 slot. Yufei Long and Kylie Wilcox secured the point with a 6-4 victory in first doubles.
The Eagles put the match away in the first three singles matches following straight set performances from Long (6-3, 7-6), Lopez (6-3, 6-3) and Natasha Irani (6-2, 6-3).
