RALEIGH, N.C. -- Boston College scored 20 unanswered points in the second half and mounted a formidable fourth-quarter comeback drive, but it was not enough as the Eagles dropped a 28-23 loss at No. 23/25 NC State.
Ben Glines - filling in for the injured All-American running back AJ Dillon - rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown and made two catches for 19 yards and a score. Anthony Brown was 14-of-25 for 198 yards on the afternoon.
NC State struck first, as Reggie Gallaspy rushed three yards for the score with 7:52 left in the opening quarter.
