CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The wait is over. The new era under the guidance of new women's basketball Head Coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee will start on the road at Rhode Island on Thursday night (7 p.m.).
Coach Mac has used her time since arriving in April to get all 12 players, five returners and seven freshmen, all on the same page.
The Eagles have no seniors on the roster but return three juniors in forward Emma Guy, forward Georgia Pineau and off-guard Taylor Ortlepp.
Guy played just 16 games as she was hindered with injury and the flu all season.
