Eagles Fend Off Providence in Home Win

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Behind three players in double figures, Boston College women's basketball dealt Providence a 73-64 setback on Sunday afternoon in Conte Forum.

The Eagles have won back-to-back games for the first time this season to improve to 3-2, while the Friars are 3-2.

The freshmen duo of Taina Mair and T'Yana Todd paced the offense by scoring a career-high 15 points apiece. Mair also led the team with five assists and grabbed three boards.

Todd did her damage in the second half with nine of her 13 second-half points coming in the fourth quarter.
