BOSTON – The Boston College volleyball team closed out the New England Challenge with its final non-conference match of the season, falling 3-1 to Northeastern on Saturday night at the Cabot Center.
BC (10-2) hit for .114 percent (46 kills – 27 errors – 166 total attempts) but had a hard time controlling the Huskie offense that hit for .224 (63 – 24 – 174). The Eagles bested Northeastern (6-6) in aces, 4-3, but were out dug, (80-70) and out blocked (11-9.5) in the match.
