DURHAM, N.H. – The Boston College women's hockey team fell to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats, 5-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Whittemore Center in the regular season finale.
UNH struck three minutes into the game and held a 2-0 lead midway through the opening frame, but Kelly Browne's 13th goal of the season made it a one-goal game at the first break. The Wildcats, though, would score twice in the second for a 4-1 lead after two periods. A third power-play goal by UNH made it 5-1 seven minutes into the final frame to close out the scoring.
