CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. – Junior Taylor Ortlepp and freshman Makayla Dickens combined for 43 points, but it was not enough as Virginia Tech stole a 95-86 victory over the Eagles on Sunday at Conte Forum in ACC action. Boston College is now 14-8 and 3-6 in the ACC, while Virginia Tech improved to 15-7 overall and 2-7 in the conference.
Ortlepp tied her career-high with seven three-pointers and finished with a team-high 23 points and five rebounds, while Dickens hit four three-pointers, 20 points and a career-high eight assists for the Eagles. Emma Guy chipped in with 14 points.
