BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Eagles (5-12, 0-9 ACC) fall 6-1 to No. 58 Virginia Tech (10-8, 3-7 ACC) on Friday afternoon in Blacksburg, Va.
The Eagles would drop the first doubles match 6-0 to the Hokies. Virginia Tech would go on to win the next two doubles matches 6-3 and 6-4 to earn the doubles point heading into singles.
Boston College took the first match of singles with Jake Vassel defeating Shepheard of Virginia Tech in straight sets 6-0, 6-4. Caleb Saltz would hang closely with No. 89 Fishback of Virginia Tech in set one, but ultimately fell in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.
