LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Cardinals scored once in each half to secure a victory over the Boston College women's soccer team in an ACC clash on Sunday afternoon at Lynn Stadium.
The Eagles had the game's first chance – with Jenna Bike putting a look just wide in the opening minute – but the Cardinals broke the deadlock in the 15th minute. Emina Ekic then doubled the lead early in the second half.
BC kept pushing to find a goal and outshot the hosts 8-3 over the final 45 minutes but the Cardinals closed the game out for the final 2-0 score.
