CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College battled the University of North Carolina before falling in three sets on Sunday afternoon. Scores of the sets were 25-23, 25-14, and 25-20.
The Eagles battled point for point with the Tar Heels in the opening set, before ultimately falling, 25-23. BC tied it up 11 times, and came within one 17 times.
In the second, BC never led as the Tar Heels jumped out to a 8-1 advantage. The Eagles dropped the set, 25-14.
UNC closed out the match in the third, taking an early 3-1 lead to secure the victory.
