GLOUCESTER, Mass. - The Boston College women's hockey team dropped a close battle 1-3 to Hockey East rival Northeastern.
The Huskies opened the game with scoring within the first two minutes into the contest,which was the lone goal of the first period. In the second period, the Eagles responded with a 5-on-3 power-play goal to knot it up at 1-1 heading into the third period.
The third period saw two goals. The Huskies put away the game-winning six minutes into the period. The Eagles tried to respond late in the third period when they pulled Grace Campbell for an offensive charge.
