WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Boston College women's track and field team finished in second place out of 42 teams with 60 total points at the Colonial Relays at William and Mary this past weekend. Delaware won the meet with 68 points. The Eagles were in seventh place after the second day of competition, but strong performance on day three helped propel BC to a second place finish at the meet.
Freshman Miranda Thompson won the 3000 meter run on Thursday, crossing the line in 9:52.73. Senior Julia Barron had a strong showing in the 400 meter hurdles, earning fourth place overall.
