PRINCETON, N.J. – Behind two first-half goals from , the Boston College women's soccer team topped Princeton, 2-1, on Sunday night at Myslik Field.
The teams were scoreless through the opening 30 minutes of the game before Smith scored in the 31st and 34th minutes for a 2-0 BC lead. Princeton's Caroline Noonan found the back of the net six minutes later to cut the Tigers' deficit to one by the half.
The Eagles earned a few good looks in the early goings of the second half but the score held up at 2-1. In the 73rd minute, was issued a second yellow card on the night.
