JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Boston College baseball team dropped its series finale at North Florida, 17-10, at Harmon Ballpark on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles fell to 4-5, while the Ospreys lifted their record to 3-10.
BC initially trailed 7-0, falling behind immediately with a five-run first for UNF. The Eagles got on the board with a run in the fourth and cut the deficit to one with a five-run fifth, including a grand slam from junior center fielder Barry Walsh (Sterling, Mass.).
The Ospreys answered Boston College's rally with four runs in the bottom of the fifth and ballooned their lead to 16-6 with five more runs in the sixth.
