WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (7-12, 2-10 ACC) dropped the final match of the weekend to No. 33 Notre Dame (14-7, 5-5 ACC), falling 6-1 on Sunday. Boston College honored its two seniors, Sophia Edwards and Marice Aguiar, for their tenure on the heights.
Notre Dame took the first two doubles matches 6-1 and 6-3 to earn the doubles point. Natalie Eordekian and Tola Glowacka were tied 5-5 in the third doubles match, but the match went unfinished with Notre Dame already clinching the point.
Marice Aguiar won set two against Julia Andreach of Notre Dame to force a tiebreaker set.
