PITTSBURGH -- Mason Madsen scored 14 points and Jaeden Zackery added 11 but it was not enough as Boston College dropped a 77-58 decision at Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
Madsen made 5-of-10 shots from the floor, including 4-of-8 from outside. Zackery added six boards and three assists.
It was a back-and-forth start to the game with four lead changes and two ties through the first seven minutes, Trailing 10-5 with 14 minutes left in the half, BC scored 11 straight to take a six point lead, after a CJ Penha transition bucket made it 16-10 with just under 12 minutes to play, BC would build as much as a seven-point lead - after two Quinten Post free throws made it 24-17 with 8:13 to go in the period.
