WEYMOUTH, Mass. – Boston College dropped the first match of an ACC home weekend to 15th-ranked NC State, falling by a final score of 7-0 at the Weymouth Club on Friday afternoon.
BC now has a record of 0-5 (0-5 ACC) while NC State moves to 6-4 (4-1 ACC).
The nationally ranked Wolfpack jumped out to an early lead by earning the doubles point behind Collin Schick and Robin Catry, who defeated and 6-2.
For the second match in a row, was the only Eagles player to take his singles match to a third set, but the rookie ultimately fell to Yannai Barkai after winning the opening set.
