CLEMSON, S.C. – Natasha Irani won her second straight singles match of the weekend, but No. 40 Boston College fell 6-1 to Clemson on Sunday afternoon to close its ACC road trip. The Eagles fell to 9-5 overall and 1-5 in conference play, while the Tigers improved to 6-8 (2-4 ACC).
The top-ranked doubles team in the nation of Marie Leduc and Fernanda Navarro helped Clemson clinch the doubles point after beating Yufei Long and Jackie Urbinati 6-2.
In singles play, the Tigers earned straight-set victories at No. 1, 2, and 5 singles to secure the match.
