WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College women's tennis team fell to 15th-ranked Virginia by a score of 7-0 on Friday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.
The Eagles' record drops to 2-3 (1-3 ACC) and the Cavaliers improve to 5-2 (1-1 ACC).
UVA kicked off the match by winning an extremely tight doubles point. Five out of six singles matches were taken in straight sets, with notable victories from Emma Navarro and Natasha Subhash in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively.
Junior Laura Lopez took her singles match to three sets, but ultimately fell to Vivian Glozman.
