GREENSBORO, N.C. - Boston College women's basketball team put forth a valiant effort, but fell to No. 6 seed Miami, 84-69, in the second round of the Ally ACC Basketball Tournament in the Greensboro Coliseum.
The Eagles are 16-17 following the setback, while Miami advances to face No. 3 seed Virginia Tech.
Four Eagles scored in double figures, with Andrea Daley netting a team-high 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor. T'Yana Todd did her damage in the second half with 10 of her 14 points coming in the final two periods, shooting 5-for-7 from the field.
