BOSTON - In a contest that came down to the wire, Boston College women's basketball outlasted Northeastern in a 64-59 triumph on Wednesday evening at Matthews Arena.
The Eagles made the final quarter their best one, outscoring Northeastern, 17-8, highlighted by an 11-4 surge over the final 5:09 en route to a 2-2 mark and their first road win of the season.
Dontavia Waggoner led the Eagles with a career-high 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting, totaled four rebounds, and came away with five steals. Andrea Daley also hit a career mark with 12 points off the bench, while JoJo Lacey chipped in with 11
