CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Freshman Makayla Dickens tallied her third double-double of the season – 24 points and 10 rebounds – but it was not enough as Boston College fell to ACC foe Virginia, 79-77, in overtime at John Paul Jones Arena on Thursday night.
The Eagles drop to 14-9 and 3-7 in ACC play, while the Cavaliers improve to 9-14, including 3-7 in conference play.
Along with Dicken's 24 point-10 rebounds effort, junior forward Emma Guy added 18 points with eight boards. Sophomore guard Sydney Lowery pitched in with 10 points.
